Archibald Williams’ MD Kiranpreet Kaur Dhillon departs to start consultancy

After five years with the agency, Archibald Williams’ managing director Kiranpreet Kaur Dhillon has departed the business to run her own company, 42North.

Dhillon first joined the agency in 2020 as a senior account director in 2016, after a brief stint at CX Lavender. However, she said she was looking for a new way of working for both herself and the industry.

“For me, this has meant leaving a fixed role in an agency for a more fluid role in this industry that allows me to pursue my passions,” she said.

“In other words, I’m officially joining the consulting side of the business… but with a bit of a twist.

42North will be a “problem-solving consultancy” that provides “independent strategic support” for agencies and marketers, Dhillon said, offering services including traditional planning resources, agency and marketing management consulting, alongside diversity and multicultural marketing.

“I’m doing it alongside brilliant independent contractors who I love working with from around the globe. The consultancy has key coordinates set up in Sydney and Vancouver, but can work with partners, agencies and marketers around the globe.”

Archibald Williams did not provide further comment on whether Dhillon’s role will be replaced when contacted by Mumbrella. It was recently appointed on a consulting base by the NRL team Brisbane Broncos.
