ARN adds hosts to Chemist Warehouse digital station

Australian Radio Network has added announcers Brendon ‘Whippy’ Dangar and Zoe Sheridan to its digital radio station, Chemist Warehouse Remix.

The newly revamped station will offer listeners national news, sport and weather updates as well as a breakfast, workday and drive show across the weekdays.

Well-known radio presenter Zoe Sheridan will provide listeners with breakfast and drive shows with co-host Brendon Dangar

The news updates will occur hourly between 7am and 10am, and 3pm and 6pm. ARN has said it is the first in-store DAB+ to provide the service.

Dangar joins the digital radio station from ARN’s Gold FM, where he is an announcer. Sheridan is a well known radio and television presenter and founder of Zoe Sheridan Productions. Both will work on Chemist Warehouse Remix in addition to their other roles.

Gold FM’s Brendon Dangar is also joining the lineup

Chemist Warehouse’s chief operating officer, Mario Tascone, said it was an “exciting collaboration”.

With experienced and well-known announcers, a great mix of music and up-to-date weather, sport and news, Chemist Warehouse REMIX is a genuine, contemporary radio station that I know our customers will love,” Tascone said.

ARN’s chief commercial officer, Emma-Jayne Owens, added: “This launch is a natural progression of the long-standing partnership between ARN and Chemist Warehouse.

“We’re delighted to bring this first to market station for DAB+ and iHeartRadio to life and to deliver a modern and engaging in-store experience around Australia.”
