ARN unveils new marketing campaign for 2020 breakfast lineup
Australian Radio Network (ARN) has solidified its 2020 breakfast lineup with a new marketing campaign, championing the programming across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
The campaigns coincide with the return of programs for 2020 and the return of Robin Bailey to Brisbane’s 97.3 FM.
Sydney’s KIIS 1065 and WSFM, Melbourne’s Gold 104.3 and KIIS 101.1, Brisbane’s 97.3FM, Adelaide’s Mix 102.3 and Perth’s 96FM will all be getting new campaigns, highlighting their talent for 2020. The campaigns will roll out across digital and social channels from today and launch across outdoor in the coming weeks.
KIIS 1065 features Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, championing Sydney’s number one breakfast show, The Kyle & Jackie O Show, who have been on air together for 20 years.
Melbourne’s Jason Hawkins and Polly ‘PJ’ Harding have received new positioning for their breakfast program Jase & PJ. ‘They’re always up to something’ is aimed at ‘capturing the authenticity, fun and unpredictability of the show’.
Also in Melbourne, there’s a new campaign for Gold104.3’s Christian O’Connell and The Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show, just over two years after it entered the Australian market in 2018.
The new positioning for the Robin, Terry and Bob Breakfast Show, ‘Together again for breakfast’ was unveiled on the weekend when it was announced Bailey would return to join Terry Hansen and Bob Gallagher, just over three years after she was dumped from the program.
In Adelaide, Mix102.3’s Mark “Soda” Soderstrom and Jodie Oddy also have a new campaign for the Jodie & Soda Breakfast Show, with Erin Phillips will be filling in for Oddy while she is on maternity leave.
ARN renewed the contracts for some of its key talent in October last year, signing Sandilands and Henderson to the network until at least 2024, WSFM’s Amanda Keller and Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones until 2022 and O’Connell also until 2022.
