Audi asks customers to negotiate on price in new 303 MullenLowe campaign

303 MullenLowe has launched Audi’s annual sales event with a series of videos filmed using a specialised camera that allows the viewer to move through the car.

Audi Open haus sales event

The ‘Audi Open Haus’ videos use a telescopic Scorpio crane camera that moves directly through each car, allowing for an alternative showcase of the Audi models.

The use of new technology aims to demonstrate Audi’s philosophy ‘Vorsprung durch Technick’ (advanced through technology).

The videos are coupled with the phrase ‘open doors, open negotiation’ and encourages consumers to openly negotiate deals.

“The camera allows Audi’s tagline to come to life by using technology that had never been used in Australia before,” said Kevin Goult, general manager of marketing at Audi Australia.

“By showcasing Audi models across the range in this way, we aim to maximise purchase consideration among people who may have had an Audi in their minds for a while, but need that little extra reason to take the leap,” Goult said.

The commercials will run until January 31 on TV, social, press and outdoor.
