Aussies to judge at Spikes Asia

Michael Hilliard of Finch, jury president – Branded Content category

A number of Australian marketing folk have been named in the latest round of jury announcements for Spikes Asia Awards, to be held in Singapore from 16-18 September.

Michael Hilliard, EP for Finch will be jury president for Branded Content and Entertainment as well as sit on the Integrated jury.

Michael Ritchie, EP for Revolver Films will sit on the jury for Craft while Jamie McKay, managing partner of BWM will sit on the jury for Creative Effectiveness.

Philip Thomas, chief executive officer of Lions Festivals, said: “It’s really important to be launching the new Creative Effectiveness and Branded Content & Entertainment categories at Spikes Asia this year and we have got some highly regarded, key experts on these inaugural juries. They join an outstanding line-up of talent and we look forward to seeing which work these four juries decide to honour at this year’s awards.”

Australian Spikes Asia jurors already announced:
Film, print, outdoor and radio – Matty Burton, ECD for Whybin\TBWA\Tequila
Direct and promo and activation – Julian Schreiber, creative director, Clemenger BBDO
Media – Toby Hack, MD on PHD
Design – Mike Staniford, ECD of Landor
Digital & mobile – Tim Buesing Digital creative director, Publicis Mojo
