Aussie expat Nicole Taylor to become SVP & head of Lego Agency

Aussie advertising exec Nicole Taylor has been appointed as senior vice president and head of the Lego Agency, joining the toy company in January 2022.

Taylor has previously held the titles of CEO at McCann Worldgroup Australia (prior to its ownership switching to Ben Lilley), CEO at DDB Sydney and managing partner at the then-named George Patterson Y&R.

Prior to joining Lego, Taylor was based in Barcelona as CEO at DDB-owned Cartoce.

In the new role, Taylor will be responsible for creating the company’s brand and marketing campaigns, with her responsbilities including setting strategy and driving innovation.

Commenting on the appointment, chief product and marketing officer Julia Goldin said: “I’m excited to welcome Nicole to the Lego Group. Taylor will be replacing Remi Marcelli who moved to become head of new businesses product group at the LEGO Group.

The Lego Agency is headquartered in Billund, Denmark with offices in Enfield, US; London, UK; Shanghai, China; and Singapore.
