Aussie Home Loans assigns CHE Proximity to creative account

Clemenger Group’s CHE Proximity has won the creative account for Aussie Home Loans.

CHE Proximity will handle Aussie Home Loans’ brand, communications and design remit.

Aussie Home Loans has appointed CHE Proximity to its creative account

The win comes just after the agency hired Vanessa Nicol as its managing director of the Sydney office and made three new appointments in the creative department.

Earlier this month the agency recruited three executive creative directors, including Marcel Sydney’s Wes Hawes.

In another win for the full-service agency, CHE Proximity recently won the creative account for Natural Gas.

Prior to appointing CHE Proximity, Aussie Home Loans worked with creative agency Special Group.

Speaking of CHE Proximity’s appointment, David Smith, chief customer officer at Aussie Home Loans, said in a statement: “There’s no doubt the mortgage broking industry is experiencing a pretty turbulent time, however it’s during challenging times that Aussie really stands tall.

“We’re so confident about the future of mortgage broking and the longevity of our business that we have big plans for our brand. We need a smart, proactive and relentless agency partner to help bring our vision to life, and CHEP has proven themselves to be that partner.

“Through the review process CHEP impressed us in all areas but especially their strategic capability, creative credentials and highly collaborative ways of working which will bring together our people, processes and systems seamlessly. I have complete confidence in the CHEP team to deliver the service, campaigns and results we need across multiple marketing disciplines.”

Chris Howatson, CEO at CHE Proximity, added: “Aussie is an incredibly strong business with 27 years of brand success. Our team is thrilled at the opportunity and challenge to partner with Aussie and help shape its brand, communications and customer experience for the future.”
