Austereo’s profits hold steady as sales fall

Radio group Austereo has reported steady profits but a drop in revenue in figures for the last six months released to the Australian Stock Exchange ths morning.  

According to the ASX numbers, the company – which includes Triple M and the 2Day network as well as digital station Radar Radio – saw a net profit of $27.9m, virtually identical to the same period a year before.

But it revealed that sales revenue for the period was down by about $5m, or 3%.
