Australian comms industry mourns passing of PR great Peter Lazar AM
The saddening news of Australian PR legend Peter Lazar AM has hit the communications industry today, received with an outpouring of tributes on LinkedIn and other social platforms.
Peter Lazar AM was recognised as a fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia for his contribution to the Australian PR industry
Very sad news indeed. Peter was an incredibly warm, compassionate, and inspiring leader for so many PR and communications professionals across the industry. Having worked at PPR for several years, I had first-hand experience of the positive impact he had on shaping the industry here in Australia to where it is today. His work is still deeply valued and respected throughout the PPR alumni.
