First AFR Magazine edition under new editor, and tenth anniversary watch lift-out marked by luxury events in Sydney and Melbourne.

Sydney July 27 2017 – Fairfax Media has celebrated ten years of its Watch lift-out in The Australian Financial Review Magazine, the nation’s premier business magazine publication, with exclusive events hosting globally renowned watch brands in Sydney and Melbourne.

The anniversary and the Watch events, which drew more than 70 people from over 25 luxury brands, reinforces the Fairfax Prestige Group’s unrivalled national appeal to high-end advertisers, connecting them with quality audiences through premium editorial content.

The 52-page tenth anniversary issue of Watch is inside the August issue of The Australian Financial Review Magazine, edited by new editor Matthew Drummond together with The Australian Financial Review’s Watch editor Bani McSpedden.

“With the publication of Watch in August 2007 we became the first mainstream media title in Australia to create a dedicated supplement covering watches,” Mr Drummond said. “Ten years later, Watch continues to set the standard thanks to its editorship by Australia’s most esteemed watch expert, Bani McSpedden.”
