Mumbrella takes the day off
If you think the Mumbrella website is a bit slow this afternoon, you’d be correct.
To thank the team for helping us have a great financial year, we’re shutting the office and heading for the Hunter Valley for the rest of the day.
Those looking to reach the editorial team will still be able to do so via our main newsdesk email of news@mumbrella.com.au which will be monitored from the wine tastings…
For any media agencies that have been waiting to quietly let some bad news slip, now is most definitely the time.

Seems like about as much work as normal is happening?
(only joking, of course).
In other news, the number of spelling mistakes published on the Mumbrella site reached an all-time low this afternoon.

I’ve continually brought up spelling issues on articles that i’ve read but the team just ignores them…so in short i’ve given up and have started my search for a different daily read – aspects of which will include close attention to detail when it comes to spelling and grammar. Just because SMH ha s become trash in terms of both spelling and grammar – trade magazines have a duty to uphold journalistic benchmarks…those who do not will continue to witness dropping readership numbers.

Can you clarify? Do trade magazines have a duty to uphold standards in any event or just because SMH has become “trash”?
