Australian Radio Network announces new appointments amid restructure of commercial team

Australian Radio Network has announced a series of new appointments and internal promotions as part of a restructure of its national commercial leadership team.

Melbourne sales director Nick Flood has been promoted to national direct sales director. In this role, he will continue to lead the Melbourne team as well as working closely with ARN’s direct sales leaders in other markets.

Anthony Bartram has been appointed as national trading director, a newly created role based in ARN’s Sydney office. Bartram comes from outdoor operator Ooh Media, and brings more than 15 years of media sales experience to the role. He will commence with ARN in late April.

Lauren Joyce will be taking the role of national strategy director. Joyce has previously worked in strategic and client partnership roles at Mamamia, Universal McCann and Ensemble and is a Cannes Young Lion Gold Award winner. She will be based in ARN’s Sydney office and will join the team in April.

Sam Harris will be taking up the role of Melbourne agency sales director, from previous media agency roles and media sales roles with Starcom, Authentic and SBS. Harris will commence with ARN in May.

ARN’s chief commercial officer Pete Whitehead said the appointments were part of a wider plan for the company.

“These new appointments and promotion are part of ARN’s ongoing commitment to invest in the very best talent and expertise across all facets of our business,” said Whitehead.

“The restructure of the national commercial leadership team is a key part of ARN’s commercial strategy to continue to drive growth across our audio and digital platforms in all markets.”
