AustralianSuper creative and media pitch down to three as it seeks single agency approach
AustralianSuper is reviewing both its media and creative accounts with the pitch process down to three agencies; CHE Proximity, The Royals and Blue499, Mumbrella understands.
Mumbrella understands the superannuation fund is looking for a single agency approach to assist with the business’ media and creative accounts.
The Royals and Blue449 have partnered together to provide AustralianSuper with both creative and media capabilities, Mumbrella understands.
While The Royals and Blue449 have partnered together, CHE Proximity has the capabilities to provide AustralianSuper with both media and creative offerings.
The shortlist comes after Mumbrella revealed AustralianSuper was pitching its media account putting incumbent agency Carat on notice.
Mumbrella understands The Shannon Company will continue to work with AustralianSuper on its brand work.
CHE Proximity’s clients include Cochlear, Mazda, Latitude Financial and HotelsCombined.
Blue449’s roster includes Puma, Ralph Lauren, Ferrero and Shangri-La Hotel.
Google, Senis, intel, NAB, World Vision and iSelect are all current clients of The Royals’.
CHE Proximity, The Royals and Blue449 declined to comment.
AustralianSuper confirmed the review of its account but declined to make any further comment on the agencies involved.
“We are currently in the final stages of a review of AustralianSuper’s agencies,” AustralianSuper’s spokesperson, Stephen McMahon, said.
