Australia’s Got Talent bows out on top

Last night’s victory in Australia’s Got Talent by dance act Justice Crew pulled in a 1.9m audience for Seven in an evening that saw Nine squeezed below a 20% audience share.

The finale of the talent show helped Seven to a 30.5% share for the night, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

However, the pendulum should swing back towards Nine tonight with Game 2 of State Of Origin.

Congratulations to Channel 7 for the opening sequence of Australia’s Got Talent.
The best sequence I have seen on Aussie TV for years. So simple, so entertaining. Maybe the producer of the Logie Awards on the nine network can have a look at it and see how it’s done.
