Australia’s Got Talent narrows gap on The X Factor

The second outing of Australia’s Got Talent closed the gap on Seven’s The X Factor on Sunday.

After the opening episode of AGT was trounced by 1.314m to 1.044m, last night saw Nine’s show improve to 1.212m, while The X Factor delivered 1.382m viewers.

One difference between this Sunday and last was the absence of a live election leadership debate and cricket from the schedules which fragmented audiences last week.

Despite this, Nine’s period crime drama Underbelly: Squizzy rated 731,000, down on last week’s 772,000.
