Auto and General names new partnerships director

Auto & General appoints Brad Seymour as director, partnerships

The announcement:

General and Life Insurance provider Auto & General is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Seymour to the role of Director, Partnerships.  Mr Seymour will join the company on 1 October.

Mr Seymour has an impressive track record as a trailblazer in the financial services industry and his appointment is a significant coup for the business, says Ram Kangatharan, Managing Director and CEO, Auto & General.

“We are excited Brad will be leading our Partnerships business providing our successful and well known clients such as GE Money, Virgin Money, Macquarie Bank, Aussie, Australia Post, 1Cover, Dodo and Maxxia, with Auto & General insurance products for their customers.  Brad will also be developing exciting new distribution models and value propositions such as the recently launched Life Insurance, Travel, Health and Personal Accident products,” says Mr Kangatharan.

“Brad is a true innovator and entrepreneur, and brings considerable skills to our business. Auto & General is constantly seeking to challenge the status quo, and we are well poised to take advantage of the future opportunities in our industry.”

Mr Seymour’s most recent role was Head of Retail and Marketing at Yellow Brick Road.  Prior to this he co-founded Wizard Home Loans where he held the role of Director of Marketing, responsible for the development of the Wizard brand and its retail product platform in Australia, New Zealand and India. He was also the Director of Marketing for GE Money when the company acquired Wizard Home Loans in 2004.

Mr Seymour replaces long-standing director James Lilley who leaves Auto & General to focus on his property development business Lilleybuild.  Auto & General wishes to acknowledge the important contribution made by Mr Lilley during his 10 years with the company.
