Autoweb.com founder and global entrepreneur Payam Zamani to speak at Mumbrella Automotive Marketing Summit

The founder of key online brands in the automotive industry, Payam Zamani, will fly in to Sydney to speak at the Mumbrella Automotive Marketing Summit.

Zamani is a serial entrepreneur with a deep interest in automotive, having founded Autoweb.com

US-based Zamani is currently the founder, chairman and CEO of One Planet Ops, a hybrid tech firm that runs a suite of online technology and media businesses, but made his name in online automotive startups.

Autoweb.com was his first venture, which he took public in 1999, and sold to rival Autobytel in 2001.

Zamani is again involved in the automotive industry through One Planet Ops and its business, Buyer Link – an online marketing platform that aims to simplify the acquisition of locally-targeted and category-specific consumers on a cost-per-click or cost-per-lead basis.

At the Mumbrella Automotive Marketing Summit, Zamani will reveal how to establish and grow a performance-based automotive marketing strategy. He will share what he has learnt about the automotive industry and performance based marketing over the last two decades.

Zamani will also provide key insights and data from the US automotive market that could provide delegates with a competitive edge in Australia, and will share his thoughts and tips on how to establish and grow a highly effective performance-based marketing strategy for any automotive company.

The 2019 Mumbrella Automotive Marketing Summit will host more international speakers than ever before. Zamani will join already confirmed product marketing manager of global Automotive at Facebook, Brandon Herring, with more international sessions soon to be announced.

Local industry leaders confirmed to speak include Volvo Cars Australia MD, Nick Conner, Go Get CEO Tom Davey, Uber Australia marketer Andy Morley, and Subaru GM of marketing, Amanda Leaney.

The Mumbrella Automotive Marketing Summit takes place on August 8 at the Four Seasons in Sydney. Tickets are on sale now.
