AWARD School to run across Australia and New Zealand in 2014

Award School kicks off in Sydney and Melbourne on March 10 before moving to Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Auckland.Applications can be downloaded from January 17 and submitted up until January 31.
The announcement:
AWARD School, the pre-eminent training program for aspiring Creatives, Copywriters and Art Directors, returns to Australia and New Zealand this year, kicking off in Sydney and Melbourne on 10th March before moving to Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Auckland.
Information nights will be held by AWARD School Heads in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth on 15th January informing prospective students on course content, entry requirements and several program updates that are to be implemented in 2014.
In line with the many changes that have taken place in the industry landscape in recent years, AWARD School ensures course content continues to remain fresh. The 12-week intensive course will cover 10 briefs, spurring idea generation across a range of different mediums, with focus on the many new digital opportunities available to today’s creatives.
AWARD Chairman, Mark Harricks, said: “We have upped the intensity this year – 10 briefs across 12 weeks is both a great and exciting challenge for budding creatives, but it’s also a taste of what real agency life is like. AWARD School is about preparing the next generation of creatives for the industry and this is the right environment. We are looking for those who want to be challenged and stand out from the crowd – if you’re interested in ‘ideas’ then this could be the right opportunity for you.”
Every year, throughout Australasia, AWARD School accepts up to 300 students from around 800 applications. The applications for all Australian states can be downloaded from the AWARD website 17th January, 2014, and can be submitted up until 31st January. Applications for AWARD School NZ will open later in the year.
