Award-winning UK communications consultancy, Liquid, to open office in Brisbane

Award-winning, international communications consultancy Liquid, (headquartered in Birmingham UK) will be opening its first office outside of Europe, in Brisbane.

Liquid Australia, will provide integrated communications consultancy to local business with communications requirements nationally or with interest to strengthen their operations In Europe, and will also work with international and UK clients expanding into the Australian market.

The Birmingham, UK, headquartered, integrated communications consultancy, Liquid, will be opening a new office in Brisbane, following its recent incorporation of Liquid Australia.

Succeeding a period of strong international operations and growing client demand in the region, Liquid moves ahead with its international business approach and expansion plans. The creative consultancy already operates in 26 jurisdictions and will take on new opportunities through the Brisbane office.

Liquid Australia will support Australia based companies looking to strengthen their operations in Europe as well as international and UK clients expanding into the Australian market.

Supporting Liquid in the restructuring of the business and setting up in Queensland are the Birmingham and Brisbane branches of Grant Thornton.

Hollie Jones, senior account director at Liquid, will head up a small team from Birmingham, who will be working in Brisbane to complete the set up. Once established, Liquid Australia will be offering job opportunities and internships for local talent, as well as secondments to their team both in the UK and Australia.

Liquid’s chief executive officer, Elisabeth Lewis-Jones, said: “We are very excited to announce Liquid Australia, our first expansion outside of Europe, and increase our global footprint. The Brisbane office will allow us to support our UK based clients in new ventures as well as welcome a whole new roster of clients to the Liquid family.

Liquid started its international expansion 11 years ago when it acquired offices in Jersey and Guernsey and has continued to grow its international client base working with clients globally, including Canada, Luxembourg, Hong Kong and Australia.

The consultancy recently joined the World Communications Forum Association as a corporate member, following a sustained period of international recognition as the consultancy was named global ‘Large Consultancy of the Year’ in PRCA’s international Platinum Awards for 2022.
