Sophie Monk becomes Slim Secrets ambassador

Media personality and current star of The Bachelorette Sophie Monk has signed up with Slim Secrets – self-described as “Australia’s leading healthy snack label” – to become the brand’s ambassador.

The agreement will involve Monk representing Slim Secrets nationally and promoting its “range of innovative and delicious healthy snacks”.

Monk said the brand fits with her lifestyle: “I travel and work unusual hours and I usually want to pig out at the minibar! But with Slim Secrets I get the best of both worlds and I don’t feel guilty.”

CEO and founder of Slim Secrets Sharon Thurin said she was thrilled to be working with a “sassy, sought-after and engaging media personality like Sophie”, and that it would help the brand execute its strategy of connecting with strong female role models. A release from the brand noted “investment into marketing, and especially with influencers, is key to the business’ growth.”

“One of our brand’s goals is to put the fun back into something and celebrate smart snacking. Sophie is perfect to help us spread our secret,” said Thurin.

“Sophie is recognised by Australians as a go-getting role model who has risen to the top in her career. She works hard and has a balanced approach to looking and feeling her best, rather than extreme dieting. She is the perfect ambassador for Slim Secrets.”

The brand – which has recently entered China – also works with professional tennis player Angelique Kerber and pop star Avril Lavinge.

Slim Secrets snacks are “delicious, convenient treats and snacks that didn’t compromise weight loss, health or fitness goals”, according to a company release.
