Barbie, Succession, and Aussie actresses lead Golden Globes noms

Barbie and Succession lead the nominations for next month’s Golden Globe Awards with nine each, while Oppenheimer scored eight noms.

Barbie’s nominations include Margot Robbie as best actress in a musical or comedy, Ryan Gosling for best supporting actor, and Greta Gerwig for best director.

Killers of the Flower Moon and Poor Things also scored big, with seven nominations each.

More importantly, three Australian actors are up for Globes: Margot Robbie, as mentioned, for her culture-shaking role as Barbie, Sarah Snook for the final, excellent season of Succession, and Elizabeth Debicki for exhuming Diana in The Crown.
