BASTION COLLECTIVE JOINS FORCES WITH CALIFORNIAN SEO AGENCY, TLG

Rapidly growing Australian communications group Bastion Collective has expanded its foray into the United States with the acquisition of the Californian-based SEO and digital advertising agency, TLG Marketing.

The latest acquisition continues Bastion Collective’s strategy of acquiring complementary communications businesses to expand its offering to Australian and international clients.

Bastion Collective has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Shanghai and Los Angeles offering services in PR, communications, social and digital media, sponsorship, activations, government and China advisory services, reputation management, insights and consumer research all under the one roof.

TLG Marketing has been renamed Bastion TLG and will provide lead generation services for companies looking to acquire new clients in Australia, the US and elsewhere around the globe.

Founder and executive chairman of Bastion Collective Fergus Watts said TLG Marketing was a perfect fit for Bastion Collective’s existing agencies and would boost its American presence.

“We need to gain insights from around the world in order to deliver world-class work which is why we are excited by the addition of Bastion TLG, based in one of the world’s biggest markets,” Mr Watts said.

“The huge growth in technology and rapidly evolving digital landscape has led to the development of specialist SEO agencies and TLG Marketing is at the top of its game,” he said.

TLG Marketing was founded over a decade ago as SEO and digital marketing first evolved by CEO Evan Lamont at the age of 25, a similar story to Bastion Collective’s beginnings under Watts as a young entrepreneur in his 20s.

The Long Beach company focuses on emerging trends and the latest offerings in lead generation rather than just a specific form of advertising or platform to give its clients an enhanced competitive advantage.

“Our ability to run targeted lead generation and digital marketing campaigns anywhere in the world ensures that even over great distances and different time zones we can be an asset,” said Mr Lamont.

“After learning about the culture and meeting Bastion’s executives, the opportunity to partner with an entity like Bastion as it builds its US presence and be part of a greater common vision and community seemed a perfect opportunity for TLG Marketing,” he said.
