Bauer Media launches website for Men’s Style, completing brand’s multi-platform offering

Bauer Media’s Men’s Style has launched its first website: mensstyle.com.au, with Ben Sherman, Cartier and Henkell signed on as supporting partners.

The website aims to complete Men’s Style’s multi-platform offer and sits alongside the quarterly magazine, fortnightly eDM, its social media presence and Men of Influence and Men of Style events.Men's Style homepageSpeaking with Mumbrella, Cornelia Schulze, publisher of Men’s Style, said: “We’re very happy with the site. It’s a clean and elegant curated digital presence which sits well alongside what we have in the magazine, which reflects the magazine but is not just a tweaked-version of the magazine.

“There is also distinct and unique content on the website and readers will also find extensions of some of the stories we have in the magazine, as well.”

The website will offer readers curated content which reflects the masthead’s key pillars of fashion, watches, fragrances and grooming, motoring, events, lifestyle and more. It will offer audiences exclusive video and stills content.

“We are targeting a premium audience, like we do in the magazine,” Schulze said. “We have not formulated any number goals for the website.”

Regarding commercial opportunities, Schulze said: “We feel the website offers a versatile and flexible environment for our partners”.

“Each of our partners can own a part of the site; there’s fashion, grooming, motoring and lifestyle. We integrate them seamlessly within the site and there’s also the usual typical commercial offerings one would expect these days.”

Men’s Style editor Michael Pickering said, in a statement: “The launch of mensstyle.com.au completes the 360-degree picture for the title and allows us to keep our audience more regularly updated on the things they already love the magazine for – our considered edit for their stylish modern lifestyle – as well as offering different and exclusive content that complements the print title.”

The launch of the website coincides with the Autumn edition of Men’s Style.
