Bauer Xcel completes To Love digital network as another senior executive departs

Bauer Xcel Media will complete the roll-out of digital content aimed at women early next year with the launch of a platform featuring entertainment, health, lifestyle, parenting and celebrity news.

Now to Love will launch in the first quarter of 2017 and is the final pillar in Bauer Xcel’s ‘To Love’ digital network.

It will draw content from The Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, NW, OK!, Take 5, TV Week, Yours, Good Health, Mother & Baby, and Shop til you drop.

Bauer Xcel managing director Christian Fricke, said: “Now To Love will complete Bauer’s digital ecosystem of powerful female content from Australia’s most loved magazine brands.

“It reflects our strategy to put the consumer at the heart of what we do by aligning our brands under our key consumer segments across Women’s Entertainment & Lifestyle, Food, Homes, Fashion & Beauty.”

Now to Love joins Homes to Love, Food to Love, and title websites Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Gourmet Traveller, Cosmopolitan, beautyheaven and Dolly in the To Love division.

It is led by Jane Waterhouse who joined Bauer Xcel in April as general manager of consumer.

News of the launch came as Bauer confirmed the departure of head of business development Sebastian Kadas.

Bauer said Kadas “indicated that he wants to concentrate on other interests outside of publishing, globally”.

“Sebastian has been with Bauer in Australia for more than three years and in that time worked as publisher on brands including Woman’s Day, Good Health, Dolly, Shop…, and launched Yours,” the publisher said,

“More recently he oversaw the launch of new one-shot titles including Happi Yoga and Follow The Crumbs.

“Bauer Media thanks Sebastian for all of his hard work in building our brands over the years and wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”
