BBC Global News Ltd announces partnership for Australia-wide campaign with OFX

BBC Global News today announced their partnership with global money transfer company – OFX – on an Australia-wide marketing campaign.

BBC StoryWorks (BBC Global News branded content division arm) have conceived and created a multi-faceted campaign called, “Where the World’s Moving.” Using a series of podcasts, written content and digital display adverts, complemented by a specially commissioned global research study, they will be digging deep into the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of life and business beyond our waters. The

OFX ‘Where the World’s Moving’ branded content series will be published across BBC.com and OFX channels and will celebrate what it means to be a global citizen in a fast moving, ever-evolving world – told through the eyes of the people that are living and breathing this ethos every day.

A key insight into BBC StoryWorks’ creative direction was the knowledge that audiences are relying more and more on podcasts for news, information & self-improvement – a trend which marketers are picking up on the world over.

The BBC is one of the world’s foremost creators of audio content, with some of the world’s most popular podcasts in its library, and its branded content division, BBC StoryWorks, will leverage this experience to produce a series of 8 podcasts hosted by acclaimed Australian futurist, keynote speaker and entrepreneur Ross Dawson. Ross will be investigating all angles of ‘Where the World’s Moving’ in this ever-changing world by talking to global and Australian influencers of industry ranging from entrepreneurs to city storytellers and business leaders. This prestigious list includes Ikea Australia’s Country Manager For Sustainability, Dr Kate Ringvall, AI Technologist, Kriti Sharma and Aaron Foley, Chief Storyteller at City of Detroit.

OFX, Chief Marketing Officer, Rebecca Shears comments… “Our partnership with The BBC is really exciting, and gives us a great opportunity to amplify the ‘Where the World’s Moving’ brand platform.

The OFX customer base is an eclectic mix of global citizens all realising international opportunity and exploration. The BBC’s global network and regional knowledge make them perfectly positioned to promote our brand across the globe.”

BBC StoryWorks, Head of Content, Australia and New Zealand Jelena Li says…“This is such an exciting new partnership for BBC StoryWorks and the wider BBC Advertising teams with a leading money transfer brand. OFX have an amazing brand vision that aligns really well with who the BBC audience are in Australia – they’re worldly achievers, globally curious and fascinated with new technologies and innovation.

Our heritage of excellence in creative storytelling paired with our extensive regional and global knowledge makes the BBC the natural choice to partner with to produce such an interesting variety of insightful content.”
