Beauty And The Geek storms to 1.4m

Seven’s Beauty And The Geek Australia had a strong ratings performance on Thursday in a night that saw no other entertainment show break the 1m mark.

Beauty And The Geek averaged 1.429m viewers, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.  

The ratings were up an extraordinary 500,000 on last week.

Meanwhile, Ten’s documentary series Keeping Up With The Joneses rated 997,000 while Rush delivered a poor 707,000, 17th for the night.

ABC1’s new legal drama Rake rated 666,000, well down on the 900,000 who tuned in for the first episode.

CSI struggled for Nine with 862,000.
