Beer brands and streaming platforms lead November Biggest Brand Movers list: YouGov

YouGov has revealed its biggest brand movers for November, with Corona Beer topping the list as summer rolls in.

The beer brand gained in nine out of 13 BrandIndex metrics – across Media and Communication (Aided Brand Awareness and Ad Awareness), Brand Perception (General Impression, Corporate Reputation, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation and Quality), and Purchase Funnel (Purchase Intent and Current Customer).

Netflix was the runner-up, scoring upticks in eight metrics across the three categories, followed by Kayo, which made improvements across six metrics in the Media and Communication and Brand Perception categories.

Thai Airways and lager brand Foster’s rounded out the top five, also making improvements in six categories.

“YouGov’s Biggest Brand Movers highlights the brands that have improved in consumer perception metrics each month,” said Laura Robbie, APAC CEO at YouGov.

“As summer rolls around, and Australians are looking for ways to cool down in the heat, beer sales are expected to grow. This, combined with the recent Corona promotions at local liquor stores, has seen Corona Beer come out on top for Australia’s Biggest Brand Movers.”

Last month, Singapore Airlines took the crown, followed by Coles, NAB, eBay and Paypal.
