Bega keeps it simple in new peanut butter ad via Thinkerbell
Bega have released latest ad for its Simply Nuts peanut butter, via Thinkerbell.
In releasing the ad the agency stated “there really isn’t a whole lot to say,” because the product is simply Aussie peanuts and a pinch of sea salt.
This latest campaign comes after Bega won the rights in the Federal Court last week to the yellow lid and red and blue labels for its premium peanut butter brand.
Bega’s win to the rights came after Bega bought the Kraft range of products from Mondelez in 2017, bringing them back under Australian ownership. Kraft sued the Australian company, claiming it the rights hadn’t been part of the deal, an argument the judge rejected in a ruling handed down last week.
In 2018, Thinkerbell won the account for Vegemite and later that year Bega consolidated its accounts with with agency.
Straightforward ad with clear message, but someone should have looked more closely about how/where the talent is positioned…
