Belle Stewart joins Ten Daily as commercial lead

Ten Daily has announced Belle Stewart as the commercial lead for news and lifestyle site Ten Daily, following the appointment of James Carr as digital commercial director in August.

Stewart joins from Concrete Playground where she was a senior business manager. She will be responsible for driving sales and commercial revenue for the platform, effective immediately.

Prior to her time at Concrete Playground, Stewart gained experience in the UK as a brand strategist with Tastemade, and has also worked with Pedestrian Group as advertising and partnerships manager.

Ten’s digital sales director Sophie Hicks Lloyd said: “It’s fantastic to be welcoming Belle to the team at a time of rapid growth for Ten Daily. Belle has deep digital commercial acumen and knows the digital publishing landscape well.

“We have some really exciting plans for the site in 2020 and she is the perfect person to lead the sales charge for the site, well into the future.”

Regarding her appointment, Stewart said the growing momentum of the platform drew her to the role.

“Ten Daily has great momentum among readers and out in market. Having such a strong editorial team and being the official online ‘home’ of Network Ten’s noisy shows like The Bachelorette, The Project and I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here means we have a really powerful and unique proposition for brands to partner with.

“Ten Daily’s first 18 months have been huge and in 2020, the site has big plans to grow its audience and commercial opportunities. I’m really excited to be part of the team and can’t wait to be the Ten Daily mouthpiece out in market.”

Ten Daily launched in May 2018 and reported a unique audience of 716,073 for April 2019 according to Nielsen Digital Content Ratings.
