Bench PR wins HashiCorp; strengthens APAC team
Technology specialist agency Bench PR has won the contract to represent HashiCorp Inc., a multi-cloud infrastructure automation software, across the Asia Pacific region and appointed two new senior consultants to the team.

Technology specialist agency Bench PR has won the contract to represent HashiCorp Inc., a leader in multi-cloud infrastructure automation software across the Asia Pacific region and appointed two new senior consultants to the team.
HashiCorp has over 3000 customers including Shopify, Adobe, AstraZeneca and Vodafone, and a large global network of cloud partners, ISVs, resellers and systems integrators.
Bench is tasked with raising HashiCorp’s profile across the Asia Pacific region with both the IT community and business transformation teams, working closely with the local APJ HashiCorp team and PR teams in the U.S. and Europe.
Two new senior consultants join the Bench PR team, Kelly Peisley and Kara Palmer. Kelly has over 20 years’ communications experience, having worked in agencies and as a journalist for The Australian. Kara joins from Archetype where she was a senior consultant for three years working for companies such as VMWare and IBM. Kara has also worked at PPR, Red Agency and Text 100.
“Our business has grown significantly over the past couple of years, with a 30% increase in turnover this past financial year. Our client’s businesses have grown exponentially as they help their customers expedite their digital transformation plans and adapt to the changing post pandemic environment.
We’ve been all remote since we started in 2008 and have continued to deliver outstanding results for our clients over this period, despite long lockdowns. This has enabled us to be very careful about which companies we work with. Revenue growth is great, but we’re much more focused on working with companies who align with our values, know we can add real value to and who we can have some fun with at the same time,” says Jocelyn Hunter, managing director at Bench PR.
Kelly is working with the Elenium and Mantel Group teams and Kara with Twilio, GitLab, Lacework and HashiCorp.
