Bennett comes out of retirement to join Ellis Foster McVeigh

Badjar co-founder Rod Bennett has come out of retirement to become chairman of marketing consultancy group Ellis Foster McVeigh.  

He will take on the role on December 7 and will be based in the Melbourne office alongside group co-founder Grant Foster and consulting director Chris Grannell.

Bennett will also work closely with the other two co-founders Dr Susan Ellis and John McVeigh in New South Wales and Queensland respectively.

He has over 40 years experience in the industry, co-founding ad agency Kutt Skinner Bennett which was acquired by Y&R in 1983. He was also co-founder of ad agency Badjar which launched in 1987. It was acquired by STW in 2007 and renamed Badjar Oglivy.
