Betoota Advocate and Stan partner for Rugby podcast

The Betoota Advocate and Stan have announced a partnership to create a Rugby podcast, Ruck Me Dead.

The announcement:

Stan today announced it has partnered with The Betoota Advocate to create a brand new Rugby podcast, Ruck Me Dead, which launches today, with new episodes every Wednesday.

A co-production between The Betoota Advocate and Stan Sport, the new home of Rugby, the podcast will feature the acclaimed team behind the chart-topping Betoota Daily New Bulletin Podcast, Errol Parker and Wendell Hussey.

In The Betoota Advocate’s own signature style, each week the Ruck Me Dead podcast will cover all the big news from the game they play in heaven – beginning with the Super Rugby AU and Super Rugby Aotearoa tournaments, in addition to covering international test matches and all the hard-hitting action from Club Rugby.

Ruck Me Dead’s Errol Parker and Wendell Hussey said: “The game of Rugby has fresh, shiny new coverage with Stan Sport that seems to have breathed life back into the code. So, after years of hanging shit on the game they play in heaven, The Betoota Advocate is giving it another go.

“Our sport’s team will be jumping in the booth every week to cover all of the footy action – from the grassroots, the country, and the world. We’ll cover the tales of Rugby Australia’s Marketing Pigeon, the world-beating Queensland Reds rolling the hapless Kiwi Super Rugby sides, and plenty more in our weekly wrap-up direct outta the heart of the Channel Country, in true Betoota Advocate style.”

Today’s announcement comes following the hugely successful kick off of the 2021 Super Rugby AU and Super Rugby Aotearoa seasons on Stan’s new add on sport package Stan Sport – with every match available ad-free, live and on demand.

Every game of the Super Rugby AU, Super Rugby Aotearoa, Trans-Tasman Tournament, The Rugby Championship, Bledisloe Cup, Shute Shield, Hospital Challenge Cup, Currie Cup and New Zealand’s National Provincial Championship will stream ad-free, live and on demand on Stan Sport, plus Super W, Wallabies and Wallaroos test matches, SANZAAR Union home tests, Japan’s Top League and more.

Stan’s add-on sport package is available for $10 a month and consumers can activate now to get a 30 day free trial for a limited time only. Activating is as simple as visiting: Stan.com.au/sport
