How I Met Your Mother

Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens Summer won the channel 652,000 viewers, but audiences dropped away for the double episode of How I Met Your Mother as no show broke a million metro viewers, OzTam’s preliminary overnight ratings show.

The  back-to-back broadcast saw 498,000 metro viewers tune in for the new episode which was third in people 25-54, with the number dropping back to 468,000 for the repeat episode.

Nine won the night with a 18.6 per cent share of the audience with Seven having a 15.3 per cent share. The Ten Network pulls ahead of ABC1 with a share of 14 per cent, while the public broadcaster managed a 10.5 per cent share.

Nine’s 5.30pm game show Hot Seat delivered the network an average metro audience of 548,000 with audiences increasing for the channel’s travel show Getaway which had a metro audience of 593,000, raking 8th in all programs. The metro audience dropped to 501,000 at 8.30 for the new episode of Person of Interest.

Ten’s Jamie Cooks Summer delivered the channel 443,000 metro viewers, with its audience climbing for the repeat episode of Law & Order SVU which saw 531,000 metro viewers tune in.

The Project delivered Ten 393,000 metro viewers.
