Beyondblue appoints Jilly Charlwood as head of marketing and digital

Mental health organisation Beyondblue has appointed Jilly Charlwood as its head of marketing and digital.

Charlwood joins the not-for-profit organisation from her previous role at Our Watch – a foundation which aims to end violence against women and their children – where she was its director of marketing and communications for over two years.

During her time at Our Watch, Charlwood oversaw the foundation’s brand campaign which was created by Thinkerbell, who won Our Watch’s creative account in March.

The campaign aimed to highlight the different forms of abuse against women including financial, social, emotional and physical abuse.

Posting to LinkedIn, Charlwood said: “After a fantastic two years at Our Watch, I’m very proud to be joining Beyondblue next week as head of marketing and digital.

“Beyondblue does exceptional work in supporting all Australians to achieve their best possible mental health, and it’s going to be an absolute privilege to join their team.”

In March last year, Beyondblue appointed TBWA Melbourne and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne to its creative agency roster after a competitive pitch process.

Charlwood and Beyondblue have been approached for comment.
