‘Big Ad’ voted world’s best beer ad in 15 years

‘Big Ad’ has been named best beer ad in the world for the last 15 years, according to New York-bsaed awards show The One Club.

The GPY&R-created ad for Carlton Draught – directed by Paul Middleditch – pipped ‘Wassup?’ for Budweiser by DDB Chicago to the top spot and ‘Noitulove’ for Guinness by Abott Mead Vickers BBDO in London.

Publicis Mojo’s ‘Pure Waters’ spot for Lion Nathan’s James Boag from 2010 came fourth, while Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand’s ‘taste in this life’ for DB Breweries comes in ninth.

Winners were chosen by viewers from a list of 32 pencil and merit winners on The One Club website.
