Big Bang triple falls short but Hamish and Andy win time slot

The triple episode of The Big Bang Theory failed to attract much of a crowd for Nine last night with none of the episodes reaching more than 700,000.

Hamish and Andy’s Gap Year following Big Bang received 847,000 which was slightly down on last week’s 895,000 but it won its 8:30 time slot, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam. It was the highest ranking non-news/current affair program for Nine.

The return of Australian cop drama Rush on Ten saw back-to-back episodes at 8:30 and 9:30 fetch 776,000 and 713,000.
