Big news players miss out on AIMIA shortlist

Almost all of Australia’s biggest commercial news sites have failed to make it onto the shortlist for this year’s AIMIA Awards which was announced this afternoon.  

The news, media and reference category sees four ABC offerings shortlisted, along with a feed of Twitter PR discussions created by BCM, consumer group Choice’s site, news aggregator Wotnews and Bigpond’s sport offering. The only work from the main commercial news players both come from News Ltd – news.com.au’s federal election site and Adelaide Now.
