BigAds launches Bud HyperLocal and welcomes back Steve Alpe

BigAds has launched Bud HyperLocal, a platform that allows advertisers to plan, activate, and measure local digital campaigns across multiple channels, and has welcomed Steve Alpe back to the company to support it.

The announcement:

BigAds is pleased to announce the return of Steve Alpe as it launches Bud HyperLocal, created for a world where advertisers and brands want direct control over their own media buying.

Bud HyperLocal makes it simple to plan, activate and measure local digital campaigns across social, video, rich media and digital out‑of‑home from a single visual map. Users can see every region or store in one view and activate campaigns instantly across channels.

“Marketers today want transparency. They want to know exactly where their money goes and what it returns,” said David Green, CEO of BigAds. “Bud HyperLocal gives them the tools to manage media directly and remove the opacity that has crept into parts of the industry.”

Alpe was part of the BigAds leadership team from 2016 to 2020, driving sales growth while contributing to product and strategy. He returns after senior roles with global ad‑tech businesses SeenThis, Inskin and Cedara.

“Steve has always combined sharp commercial instincts with strategic thinking,” said Green. “He understands how creative, media and technology work together, which is exactly the mindset behind Bud HyperLocal.”

“I’m thrilled to be back,” said Alpe. “Bud HyperLocal gives marketers and agencies the freedom to manage their own media relationships while keeping everything transparent, measurable and under their control.”

Bud HyperLocal is available now, with complimentary access to its planning and creative tools for early partners.
