Black Communications signs major high-profile clients

Black Communications has secured several “high-profile new business wins”.

The announcement:

BLACK Communications, Australia’s leading luxury communications agency, is celebrating a strong first quarter 2025 with a series of high-profile new business wins across the premium fashion, lifestyle and hospitality sectors.

In January 2025, BLACK Communications was appointed PR partner for luxury watchmaker Hublot, part of the LVMH Group, working on communications, events and partnerships for the brand in this region with the mission of driving profile and growth in the Australian market.

Also within the LVMH Group, BLACK was appointed to manage the Belvedere Vodka and Moët & Chandon brands for Moët Hennessy Australia at the recent Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025. BLACK recently spearheaded the Australian launch of Glenmorangie whisky’s Once Upon a Time in Scotland campaign, featuring Hollywood legend Harrison Ford. The agency adds these Spirits projects to its current Moët Hennessy portfolio, which includes Dom Pérignon, Krug, Moët & Chandon, Ruinart and Veuve Clicquot.

In the hospitality space, BLACK Communications has secured a partnership with The Point* Group, one of the segment’s most dynamic operators, working alongside the team to launch The International. The International is a new dining and social destination in the heart of Sydney’s CBD featuring three unique venues; The Wine Bar, The Grill and The Panorama Bar. Further cementing its leadership in premium lifestyle communications, BLACK Communications has been selected to lead PR strategy for Sonoma, Australia’s foremost artisan baker, as the brand embarks on an ambitious national and international expansion in 2025.

Heading into the second quarter of 2025, BLACK continues the momentum, announcing a new luxury fashion client, Roger Vivier, part of the TODS Group. BLACK has also been appointed to manage the announcement and public relations for Pontiac Land Group’s exciting new northern CBD project at the former Lands Building – an extraordinary heritage development offering an innovative mix of discovery retail, dining and hospitality, business and event venues.

Says Sophie Curtis, managing director and owner of BLACK Communications:
“We are honoured to welcome global brands Belvedere, Glenmorangie, Hublot, Pontiac Land Group and Roger Vivier to the BLACK luxury client portfolio, along with two standout Australian businesses, The Point* Group and Sonoma. In BLACK’s 22-year history, we have not seen a run of new business wins like this, or of this calibre. These partnerships reinforce our position as the go-to agency for premium brands in the Australian market, and the importance of our recently expanded service offering. Despite recent challenges in the luxury sector, our clients are forward-thinking and ambitious, and we share their positive outlook. 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for BLACK Communications.”
