Blame Cannes
Michael Henry’s Blame will screen in the Cinema des Antipodes section at Cannes.
“We are extremely excited to be screening in Cannes and nothing would please us more now than seeing the audience in France respond as favourably as the audiences in Melbourne, Toronto, Chicago and more recently in Buenos Aires,” said producer Melissa Kelly.
Cinema des Antipodes is an official sidebar event, part of the Cannes Cinephiles program. Producers Melissa Kelly and Ryan Hodgson will introduce the film’s screenings and participate in Q&A sessions.
Blame was produced by Kelly, Hodgson and Michael Robinson, with funds from ScreenWest, the Melbourne international Film Festival Premiere Fund, Screen Australia and private investment. It will be released in Australia by PackScreen on June 16.
