Blis Upgrades Smart Trends To Give Marketers Unrivaled Consumer Insights

Latest Smart Trends Capabilities Reveal Insights into Hotel-Goers.

Blis, the global pioneer in advanced location data technology, today announces new capabilities for its Smart Trends tool, offering marketers even greater consumer behaviour and competitor insights through movement data.

This announcement follows the successful launch of the Smart Trends tool and the Global Retail Report at the end of 2017.

With the new capabilities of Smart Trends, Blis is able to build intelligence from refined movement data analysis across various verticals. To demonstrate these enhanced capabilities, Blis conducted global research, analysing devices of guests staying in top global hotel chains.

Smart Trends data reveals in-depth insights such as Hilton visitors being more likely to be seen at top tourist attractions and fine dining restaurants than Four Seasons visitors, despite Four Seasons being the more established luxury brand.

These types of insights can be gathered across many sectors and offer marketers the opportunity to gain deeper insights on their consumers and those of their competitors.

The upgraded tool also allows marketers to better understand where other brands’ consumers stray alongside audience behaviours and competitor insights. Through this technology, Blis empowers brands to make more informed business and marketing decisions, backed up with quantitative data, analytics and insight.

“Brands are now able to access far more comprehensive consumer profiles beyond the scope of traditional location data. Not only does movement data help marketers understand the different user patterns over time through footfall in specific locations, now it also helps them identify the factors that are driving conversion and loyalty.” said Greg Isbister, CEO & Founder at Blis.
