Blue 449 wins media for Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical
Live entertainment specialist Michael Cassel Group has broadened its relationship with Blue 449, handing the media agency the account for Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical.
The musical, worth $2m in billings, will premiere in Melbourne in January after having toured the world.
The win is the latest production to be handled by the agency, having already run campaigns for Les Miserables, Kinky Boots and the upcoming production of Beautiful: The Carole King Story.
Julie Ott, head of marketing for Michael Cassel, said the agency won the latest project on the basis of its mix of data and creativity.
“It was an easy decision to partner with them again on Priscilla so they could bring their unique combination of data and creativity to this iconic Aussie Musical,” Ott said.
