BMF has made a series of senior account hires with Toby Hussey and Danielle Richards joining the agency and Emma McJury promoted to group account director.

The announcement:

BMF has hired Toby Hussey, Danielle Richards and has promoted Emma McJury to take up Group

Account Director roles.

Toby Hussey has spent the last eight years working across the Wieden + Kennedy network in London,

Portland and New York. He has worked with Target, Nokia, Sony and most recently led the famed

“Whatever’s Comfortable” work for Southern Comfort, including Cannes Gold-winning spots “Shampoo” and

“Karate”. Toby starts immediately to lead the ALDI business.

Says Toby: “Aldi is clearly an amazing business and brand, and the long partnership with BMF has

produced some fantastic work. I can’t wait to partner with the team on building even stronger foundations

for the business moving forwards.”

Danielle Richards joins BMF from running the internal creative agency at Foxtel. Prior to that, she spent

12 years with DDB across its New Zealand and Australian offices. During her time at DDB she was

responsible for the SKY TV account, one of New Zealand’s most internationally awarded brands. She

joins the BMF team to run a large, integrated financial services brand that will soon be announced,

following a number of new business wins.

Emma McJury joined BMF in 2010 as an Account Director to work on Commonwealth Bank, Tooheys and

5 Seeds. Previously, she worked at M&C Saatchi Sydney and McCann Erickson London on a variety of

accounts including Optus, The San Diego Zoo and American Airlines. As Group Account Director, Emma

will be leading James Squire, Weight Watchers, BPay and the Australian Electoral Commission.

Stephen McArdle, BMF Managing Director, commented: “It’s always a good sign when the work you’re

doing attracts exceptional global talent like Toby and Danielle. But it’s even more exciting for us to be able

to recognise home grown talent like Emma, who has helped us get back to winning ways and produce

some of that world class work.”
