Pulse Communications looks to retailer Banana Republic for new director

christopher kinseyPulse Communications has hired the PR and social media manager for retailer Banana Republic in Europe, Christopher Kinsey, as a new director.

He will be responsible for leading clients including Ford, UBank, Australian Eggs Corporation Limited (AECL) and Activision.

The announcement:

With more than 20 years of marketing communications experience, Kinsey was most recently head of PR and social for Banana Republic in Europe where he oversaw external communications through various channels and audiences. This included traditional trade and consumer media, social influencers, VIPs and VIP stylists.

Prior to Banana Republic, Kinsey was the Divisional Director, Brand Communications at Weber Shandwick Belgium, where as a regional board member he oversaw a team of 13 PR, social media, corporate communications and lobbying professionals. His previous extensive experience includes working on global brands such as General Motors, Jaguar Land Rover Group, Jo Malone, Max Factor, Vidal Sassoon, DeBeers, Shell, Dunlop and MasterCard.

Kinsey will be leading several of Pulse’s key client accounts including Ford, UBank, Australian Eggs Corporation Limited (AECL) and Activision.

The appointment complements the existing leadership team of Amanda Shannahan Moore, Jacqui Abbott, Rachel Byrne and Alison Larkin in supporting Richard Brett, Managing Director, as the agency continues to implement its new vision and strategic direction – Brave Ideas that Brands Famous.
