Bohemia appoints Rebecca Hamilton as media director
M&C Saatchi’s media agency Bohemia has announced Rebecca Hamilton will head up the agency’s Freedom Furniture and Michael Hill accounts and take on the role of media director.
Hamilton is a ‘cultural fit’
Hamilton joins from Disney Theatrical Productions where she was marketing director and worked on The Lion King and Aladdin The Musical. Bohemia’s head of media and investment Theo Zisoglou said within 10 minutes of meeting Hamilton, he knew she was the perfect person for the position.
“She has deep media experience coupled with client-side knowledge as well as the rare ability to understand the retail space,” he said.
“She’s an amazing person and a fantastic cultural fit. We look forward to her positive contribution to Bohemia and our clients.”
Hamilton, who joined Bohemia earlier this week, said: “Walking through the door, I could instantly feel a great culture surrounded by incredibly talented people. I’m looking forward to being a part of the Bohemia team and producing great work that generates even greater results.”
Prior to joining Disney Theatrical Productions, Hamilton was communications director and then senior strategist at Slingshot.
In February last year, creative agency M&C Saatchi bought Bohemia.
At the time M&C Saatchi Group CEO Jaimes Leggett said: “With Bohemia in the family, we will have the capability to marry content with context for more influential communications. Driving creative probability through increased media precision.”
