Bohemia wins back Schneider Electric ANZ

Media agency Bohemia has been reappointed by energy management and automation technology company, Schneider Electric in Australia and New Zealand business.

Bohemia will once again manage Schneider’s media strategy, planning and buying, restoring the arrangement originally signed in 2017.

Mumbrella understands Schneider Electric ANZ worked with Initiative before the reappointment, aligning with the tech firm’s global business.

The agency will manage B2B and B2C media and performance strategy, planning, and buying across all channels for Schneider Electric Australia and New Zealand, and its subsidiaries, including Clipsal in Australia and PDL in New Zealand.

“I’m delighted to welcome Bohemia back into the fold and see the relationship supporting our integrated marketing program to enhance business growth,” Schneider Electric vice president global marketing – Pacific Josette Addinall said.

Bohemia secured Schneider Electric in 2017 following a competitive pitch and remained in place for four years until Schneider’s global consolidation in 2022. Mumbrella understands the ANZ business at the time engaged Initiative, Schneider’s globally aligned agency, over a 17 month period.

The agency said it was selected by Schneider for its new positioning and for its familiarity with Schneider’s ANZ business and its needs. The win also follows Bohemia’s recent brand refresh earlier this year.

Bohemia chief executive Paul Hutchison said: “Schneider Australia returning to Bohemia is testament to our new proposition.”

“Our commitment to moving people through handcrafted, memorable media is exactly what Schneider needs and wants. We are proud to offer bespoke solutions – we don’t provide clients with off-the-shelf, machine-generated media plans; every plan is handcrafted by humans, informed by data and technology, and unique to the opportunity faced by our clients in their industry.”

“We are proud that Schneider Electric has opted to work with an agency that is fully dedicated to handcrafted communications solutions to help its brand and business grow with both B2B and B2C audiences.”
