Boost Juice throws back to hyperbolic 1980s ads to promote holiday giveaway
Boost Juice has employed naff graphics, an enthusiastic spokesperson Dave ‘Burning Man’ Jones and 1980s music to promote its holiday giveaway.
The ad pays homage to over-the-top fire sale ads from decades gone by complete with a fake fire, shouting from the spokesperson and an incorrect image of Korea (showing the Great Wall of China).
Just a hint of Saul Goodman in there…
If they never see it.
“Being able to work directly with Sherpa has really simplified the creative process,” is all well and good but if they don’t know how to amplify it properly to get earned eyeballs then it’s just self-serving. Why are the videos provided to trade press the ones from the agency’s Vimeo account and don’t show up anywhere in the real world even when proactively doing a quick Google search (which obviously no consumer would ever do)?
