Brad Banducci lands at TEG as new chief executive officer
Former Woolworths chief Brad Banducci has been named the new CEO of live concert and ticketing giant TEG.
Banducci has over 30 years of leadership experience, including his most recent tenure at Woolworths Group.
In early 2024, he quit his role at the supermarket giant in the wake of a disastrous Four Corners interview.
The Woolworths Group chairman, Scott Perkins, insisted Banducci’s resignation had nothing to do with the “external events”, telling media during a financial results call that his departure was in the works “for some time” and “the timeline” was unaffected.

Banducci and Jones
Banducci’s appointment comes as Geoff Jones, who has served as TEG’s CEO for 14 years, moves up to chairman.
According to the media release, Jones transformed the business over his 14 years of leadership, reshaping it to multiply in value and in its geographical footprint.
“I am honoured to join TEG at this exciting time in its journey,” Banducci said in a media release.
“Under Geoff’s leadership, the company has built a strong foundation, and I look forward to working in partnership with Geoff, Cameron Hoy (chief operating officer), our investors Silver Lake, Mercury Capital and Australian Super, and the broader TEG Team, to deliver exceptional live experiences for all of our customers and stakeholders.
“In this new role, I am following both a personal passion for live events and a strong belief in the increasing importance of live experiences in general,” Banducci said.
In the media release, Jones described Banducci as the “ideal leader” to guide TEG into its next phase, and said he’s “delighted” to pass the baton.
“As chairman, I look forward to working with Brad and the team to continue to grow the business,” Jones said.
Banducci will commence at TEG on March 31.
