Brandscreen appoints Stuart Spiteri and Jo Gaines

BrandscreenMedia trading technology company Brandscreen has announced a series of major appointments, including former News Digital Media COO Stuart Spiteri and CBS’s general manager Jo Gaines, as the company moves to expand its presence in Asia and Australia.

Spiteri has been appointed president and chief revenue office and will be based in Singapore. Gaines will be chief revenue officer for Australia and New Zealand and will be based out of Sydney.

“Stuart has been a leader in the digital marketing industry in Asia Pacific for more than 15 years and is known for his commitment to the pursuit of precision marketing,” said Julian Tol CEO of Brandscreen.

The company has also announced the appointment of digital entrepreneur Tony Surtees, who will take the role of COO of Brandscreen, based out of Sydney.  

Surtees was previously CEO of iPrime, for Prime Media Group Limited, and VP and GM of Yahoo!’s commerce division in the US.

“The wealth of experience Tony, Jo and Stuart bring to Brandscreen positions us and our customers for what we anticipate will be the exponential growth of programmatic buying in the coming years,” Tol said.

“It’s an exciting time to be involved with such an innovative organisation as Brandscreen at such an important time for the future of marketing,” Spiteri said.

Brandscreen was established in Australia in 2006 to develop the algorithms and systems to enable real-time bidding and programmatic media buying to media agencies.
