Brandscreen co-founder Julian Tol joins Chinese performance marketing firm iClick
Julian Tol, the co-founder of Australian programmatic trading firm Brandscreen, has moved to Hong Kong-headquartered performance marketing firm iClick Interactive.
Tol takes on the role of president, global platform group for iClick, after just over a year with consulting firm AdScience.
Tol set up Brandscreen in Australia in 2006 with business partner Seth Yates. The company, which ventured into Asia in 2011, went into administration after failing to find a buyer in January last year. The company re-emerged after selling to an American firm four months later. Yates has since moved to Krux Digital with Stu Spiteri, the former CEO of Brandscreen.
He will report to iClick’s CEO and co-founder Sammy Hsieh.
